Video 1 - Lit
This Video is about a group of young children who has just learnt about the game called spin the bottle, when the bottle lands on two girls they expect them to spin it again, however the girl stops them and is about to kiss her when the mum walks in and they both retreat.
Camera -
The camera shots is wide angle throughout to show every kid playing the game. They also use close up to show the facial expressions of the two girls whilst it lands on them to show there nerves. The directors also uses a birds eye view when they pin the bottle to show it spinning round the group.
Sound -
the sound throughout this is the children talking whilst they are playing the game you can also hear the sound of the bottle spinning when the bottle gets spun. They also uses a intro 2 second song clip to introduce the short film.
Lighting -
the lighting throughout the whole clip is done by a lamp in the distance to show the intense of the kids playing spin the bottle, however when the mum walks in she opens the blind which makes the whole scene
Genre -
LGBT+ and Drama. I put these into this drama because these are kids and when the parent walked in they both shot out showing that they are unsure.
Editing -
This video has a series of cuts throughout the clip to show emotion in the children faces. They also fade out at the end of the clip.
Video 2 - Toasted

This video is about a worker in a toaster who toasts the bread and does this repeatedly until one day he burns the toast through and escapes into the real life world. This video is an animation.
Camera -
The camera angle uses various camera shots such as a close up of the guy toasting the bread, wide angles and birds eye views and more in this short film.It also uses extreme close ups throughout for example to show the workers expression to wanting escape and his plan on how to escape i.e burning the bread.
Sound -
As this is an animation all of the sounds in this is added after making the animation. For example the timer of the toaster, the heaven sound effect and the sound of the fire was all added and possibly found on the internet.
Lighting-
The lighting in this video is very low and dark this is because it is set in a toaster. The light which is used in this animation is the light from the flamethrowers which the workers are using to toast the bread when it is in. There is another lighting moment when the worker has managed to escape the toaster there is a shone glimmer of light to represent he is somewhere better now.
Genre -
This video is under the category of animation as everything in this clip was animated.
Editing -
This clip was heavily edited as all of the clip was started from scratch. This video has cuts throughout and has sound effects added to it.
Video 3 - Absence

This video is about heartbreak and about him buying a snake. This video there is a man rhyming over the animation actions, until the end where he shows a real street lamp with his snake drawing on it.
Camera-
In the video the most common camera angle was the wide angle. Alex Goddard uses close ups as well for example when the man as buying the snake.
Sound -
In this animation the animator uses sound effects throughout such as the window smashing and when the man was buying the snake but he also talks over the whole video and rhymes throughout.He also uses a short burst of music when he was standing on top of his Honda.
Lighting -
This video uses very bright colours which lights up the clip, Goddard uses colours such as pink, blue,green and red to make them stand out so when you're watching the clip you see the colours first.
Genre-
I would put this in comedy as although it is about a heartbreak he uses rhymes and makes you forget he is sad as what he says is stupid and comedic.
Editing -
This video uses cuts and transitions for example the snake going past the bar code. He also uses text in the middle to make it carry on rhyming with the text -ga on the screen, but however he also goes into the real world by putting an actual missing sign of his pet snake up so he uses animation and real world in this 90 second clip.
Video 4 - You Died

In this yet another animation video, it is about the person watching this video has died and that they will watch this comedic 90 second clip till eternity.
Camera -
In this video the camera uses wide angles to explain to you dying and that it is not a joke and that death is just this video playing over again and again. it uses close ups and wide angle shots to explain death.
Sound -
In this video it uses a backing track of an old vintage song and adds a man explaining to you about death and that you will watch this video but also uses sound effects such as the kissing sound effect of the man kissing the badger.
Lighting -
There is no real lighting needed in this video as it is completely in black and white however certain clips uses more light in others as the scene uses more white than other scenes creating light.
Genre -
This video is definitely in comedy as they joke around about death and uses silly comments to try to prove to you that you are really dead.
Editing -
This video has a lot of editing in as it is animated and uses transitions such as zooming out and zooming close. It has sound effects added and uses text so you can read scenes whilst he is speaking the same thing as the text. Also adding that the video was added completely black & white to add an old vintage feel on the video.
